No it is not working!
I deleted the workflow and set up a new one with 2 databases.
In the first database I load the ea's I want to retest. In the second database I send the results.
As you can see in the screenshots added, the Currency Pair is changed from AUDCAD to EURUSD.
I would really appreciate a fix of this problem. Hope the screenshots help.

It is like you have suggested.
If I do the automatic retest and the exact name of the currency pair is not available, the retest is done with some other currency pair (which I did not want to test!)
As user, I would like to get informed that the currency pair is not available. Otherwise it is possible, that I make a huge mistake, when retesting a portfolio.
I would suggest to implement a warning, if the currency pair from the last test is not available. In best case the user then can decide, which currency pair he wants to use for this ea.
To summarize: It is not a bug, but somehow misleading behaviour.

this is automatic task, so no user interference is needed
