the first screenshot shows me that there are some issues caused by upgrading - there shouldn't be buttons "Create portfolio" and "Portfolio" at the same time.
Please make a clean installation of B 128, and copy your /user setting there from your existing installation. This will copy all the data, projects and settings there.
If you have any custom snippets you should also copy them from /extend/Snippets folder.
Once it is a clean installation it should work correctly.

Even more GUI issues....this one like the previous one is at least 1 year old!
How difficult can it be?
