Fatal error / Close SQx immediately when running buider

Hey guys, 



It did happen 3 times in the past week when I am running the builder on SQX, after a time about 2 hours the Soft closes immediately and losing all info created on the buider.


I found those TXT files with the error and attaching them for you guys review and check it out if there any weird issues with.

I have regular speed performance on standard setting from AMD config settings, so none undervolt or overclok enable

This looks like a hardware issue, to be honest. Exception 5 is typical for RAM problems. Best if you run Karhu RAM-Test, I am pretty sure it will give errors. https://www.karhusoftware.com/ramtest/

Hey guys,


did the Ram test as Geektrader recommended me, so no problem with it...


After check the integrity of my RAM, I decided reinstall the soft as JM said and let's what's gonna be!

I even turned on memory protection, but it happened again and again.

I'm using BTCUSD data.

By now for me runs okay.


my last run took 4 hours without this failure...( cross fingers ;- p ). 

I did some changes on SQX setup, for example, let it choose the amount RAM memory used (which is using 4/5 gbs from my total of 16 gbs) and reduce the number of cores, which I have 16, I set to use 12 cores and it seems to be okay...


I am still running HG (copper future) 11 years of data, full data from Tradestation. / Same data as this issue showed up!

Just for info, I have this problem on my PC. (Ryzen 5950x and Win11)

I changed overclock to lower frequency and it's fixed.

But this is a problem in SQX, and it should not have problem with overclocking.

At the same time no other programs fail.

Hey Alex, what's up!


FYI, I think mine was some memory card issue because I've change one of them upgrading my 16 gb to 40gbs and the issue totally disappear from SQX on my Win11 and R9 5950H.


Another thing interesting that I haven't found any improvement with overclocking the PC when running SQX, so I put back on my regular optimization hence the fan noise caused by overclocking is annoying and for sure to not struggling to my adorable Ryzen 9 :-P
