[Build 136] Build 136 RC1 : Custrom Project : Optimizer Task : 4 Points 3D instead of one 3D Point

the view is not working correctly at all

1/     We have  4 Points 3D instead of one Point 3D on each position of the grid 

This is correct, because it is optimized by more than 3 parameters, so for one combination of x,y there can be more Z results

other points are just UI problems

136 final should be out tomorrow.

Optimized params are on horizontal axis. the performance metric (NetProfit) is on vertical axis.

Let's assume that the strategy has only 3 params Period1, Period2, Period3

Period1=5;Period2=10;Period3=100; => NetProfit=100

Period1=5;Period2=10;Period3=200; => NetProfit=200

Period1=5;Period2=10;Period3=300; => NetProfit=-500

Period1=5;Period2=10;Period3=400; => NetProfit=-900

...

now we want to display 3D chart for x=Period1/ y=Period2

for combination 5/10 there are multiple NetProfit results. 

3D surface chart is displaying only the best/worst Z value (based on the stat type Maximize/Minimize).

3D point chart is displaying the best and also the worst Z value + some others (I think max 5 dots for one combination)

Is it clear now ? 

I understand your explanation but I don't see how we can use this 4 Points 3D view to select the best parameters

4 points 3D is making things complicated and not very clear to select the best parameters

Is it possible to keep this   4 Points 3D view as an Option ?

And keep one point 3D view as regular view ?

And we can not wait B137 , next year without optimizer

please, put it back like it was with 1 point 3D on Build 136

We can ask Marc to add the requested feature to 136 final but why 3d point chart is so important fo you? 

You can switch the chart to 3d surface or 2d heat map

(As you can see on the chart, the actual chart is not clear with 4  points on each position) 

the 3D surface do not work correctly as well, the surface 3D is not at the correct position.
