i was talking with Mark to add these two options to a portfolio master

- use sector as symbol

- use sector as timeframe


so users could choose that sector will be recognised automatically

Your idea is nice, I would extend it a little bit to fit all possible needs.


- use sector as symbol

- use sector as timeframe

- use sector as symbol_timeframe

- use sector as manual input during load

trying QA 4.6 - its working, but not automatically - only by turning ON advanced options - where i need to confirm every single strategy with click


how to load 500 strategies with note?

You can use Scripter. Try the attached script file.


It imports files from predefined directory with ability to set Note.

I think automatic sector load should be build in feature.

Without need to use Scripter.

i am using more simpler version - i am injecting the note to STR and to SQX files by PHP script


but we need to find more user friendly solution for other members
