Christian, can you add few more details about this problem?

What exactly data format are you using during import? Maybe post a screenshot of SQ4 import screen.

And can you attach also a short sample of the imported data file?

This error looks like configuration problem, it should be easy to fix.

Hi it would be great when you can fix it short. So  I download from my broker the MT5 history from EURUSD in a csv file. Most MT5 download files have a first row in the file like this but the problem accours when it have more as 7 rows like 9 below:

<DATE>    <TIME>    <OPEN>    <HIGH>    <LOW>    <CLOSE>    <TICKVOL>    <VOL>    <SPREAD>
2016.11.29    00:00:00    1.06123    1.06130    1.06095    1.06102    83    0    11
2016.11.29    00:01:00    1.06103    1.06124    1.06103    1.06123    137    0    8
2016.11.29    00:02:00    1.06126    1.06127    1.06117    1.06123    96    0    5

In SQ3 I can import this data very easy, but in SQ4B7 I get the error message. Here are the steps: DATA MANAGER->Select EURUSD and Import button->Select the CSV ifle-> Error Message: Cannot get file overview. IllegalArgumentException : Illegal pattern character 'o'.

Tip: In SQ3 I can say import 9 colums which is not possible in SQ4B7. I have no predifed MT5 file format...only NT pred. file format has 7 columns but not 9. So can you create a predefined file format for MT5?

Nope, it didn't help because one column is to much:

Error parsing on row: 1, line contents: 2016.11.29 00:00:00 1.06123 1.06130 1.06095 1.06102 83 0 11, message: The number of columns in data file doesn't match!(CSV columns: 1, ImportDataInfo columns: 7

Now I found one possibility (not sexy but it works): Select NinjaTraderdata, change Date Format and seperator and then import the 9 colums.
