Running while "running button off"

I have reported freezing and high CPU utilisation previously. I am required to restart the program every 4-6 hours.  Now I have noticed while it showed that the program had stopped and needed to be restarted, infact it was still running and I could see the log updating in real time.  Here is the image capture and logs
