[Release Candidate 4] SQ4 RC3 Performance bugs

The Performance configurations do not work . i tried every one of them but it instead uses all CPU Cores . Please take a look at the attached. The CPU hits 100% on all cores even if i select 8 Cores of 24 Cores

In my case this happens when I choose the number of processors that I want to use for the creation of strategies. Even though I choose only 1, I use the 8 processors, I have an i7, that is, it uses 100% of the CPU resources

Status changed from New to Refused

yes, it works like this in RC3, we postponed release of RC4 mainly to rewrite parallel processing.

In RC4 it works correctly - it uses the predefined number of cores, with some exceptions - if you set up Genetic Evollution with let's say 40 islands then the evolution on all 40 islands is performed in parallel on all cores. But backtests for each strategy in those islands is made only on the fixed number fo cores you specified.

So you migth see some work on all cores in situations like this, but most of the work will be done by a predefined number of cores.
