RC4 backtest of *.str file dont work

Hi,

-I generated SQ4 strategies.

-Stored this strategies in *.str format.

-I reloaded this strategy in backtester, but I dont get trades ( I cant see pseudocode)

I think it is a generell problem for all strategies

but he want to backtest only STR file from SQ4 strategy - in the old STR format is only trades nothing more - backtest is impossible

ok I understand now.

When you create strategy in SQ4 you have to save it in .sq4 format.

Saving to .str format saves only strategy stats, not the strategy itself, because it would be impossible to convert SQ4 strategy to STR format.

Support for .str format in SQ4 works this way:

1. you can load .sqt strategies from SQ3 to SQ4

2. when you save strategy in SQ4 to .str format, it saves only its stats. It is meant to be used in QuantAnalyzer, so that QA can load SQ4 strategies - until there will be a direct support for SQ4 in QA.
