Dialog for % filter of any give parameter (e.g. filters in Ranking & Filtering and in Cross Checks)
- using RC4
- In Filters (Ranking & Filtering) or Cross-Checks for instance
- Trying to add a filter as a % value of parameter
I looked if similar error was already in data base, but didn't find any similar entry.
When I try to add a filter that is a % value of a parameter, I get something like 50% of ? (see image). I can even replicate a filter that is already presented as default (see image Net Profit).
Other problems that occur with this kind dialog:
1 - When selecting the parameter to which we want to associate the % value (in dialog "Edit Condition") we have to select the parameter twice (like Net Profit) or us to have the full dialog available (with From Backtest, Sample Type, Direction...etc ). Only when we have all that information available can we select the % value to be then assumed (even though if with a"?" instead of the name of the parameter we selected)
2 - If we meddle too much with this (trying to solve the problems above) the filters (even the ones that were there by default) disappear (box with the several lines with the filters that were already defined - 4 filters in my image - becomes totally empty/cleared) and we have to shut application down and restart it to be able to define new filters again, otherwise application doesn't even allow us to add new filters.

Note 1: as you see its config file nr. 11 because if you save the config file under the same name it doesn't store the configutations
Note 2: Im running now a simulation with the config file attached. After almost 40.000 generated strategies databank is still empty. I am wondering if the "?" I saw in the filters and that I mentioned above are preventing any strategy to be actually accepted as valid. Can you clarify ? Thank you so much!

Both of the problems have been fixed.
Displaying ? are caused by incorrect values set in your config. There was a bug in UI.
To fix it remove the condition and add a new one.
Incorrect conditions containing ? are ignored during the backtest so empty databank is not caused by this.

I tried several times to add a new condition (like in image I attached, I try to replicate exactly the Net Profit condition in cross-checks that is presented by default) and I always get a "?", no matter what I do. I spent about 1 hour yesterday trying to go around it and would always get a "?" whenever a % of another parameter was used as filter.
If problem is in my config file, where is it exactly ? I suppose it's not on the filter conditions themselves because, as I refer in the line just above, even if I try to replicate exactly a condition that is already presented as default, I always get a "?" no matter what I do.
