Mark: can you add some text to bring clarity to the "initial generation screen"? Are these the parameters that filter strategies out or let them through?

you have set 15 islands with 20 strs each - so your initial population will have 300 strs and these filters are using to filter the initial population - which is nothing more than randomly generated strs before the genetics take care of them

Yes I totally understand. What I’m wondering is if these parameters are defining what to use or what to discard.

they are defining what to use, strategies that don't fit in will be not used.
