SQX 112 - Cannot edit newly created indicator code (Java class)

Maybe I'm being extra stupid here, but I'm following the tutorial to create a new indicator building block describes in file:///C:/StrategyQuantX/Extending_SQX.pdf


I clicked Create New Custom Indicator.  However the resulting source code is locked / readonly.  It is impossible to make any edits using the editor. 


What is happening there to prevent getting any further than creating the template ready for code changes...
