limit on LOG file

Can we have option to limit the size of the log file, as it gets bigger, the software slows down, so we have to manually Clear Log. 
The limit Log Size can be done by Bytes, lines (records) or time (clean periodically).

we fixed it, Log text is limited to a reasonable value
