Unable to update to newer version

In my server, I run StrategyQuantX.exe and informed that the update 113 is available. However, the update process gets stuck "checking internet connection" (see attached)



I know there is internet connection because I am connected to my server using remote desktop. So, what is the problem then? Does it use an specific port that the firewall is blocking?

it uses normal port 80 for download, but it looks like your firewall is blocking the application. Please check your firewall, make sure that StrategyQuantX.exe is not blocked.

Hi Mark,


I think StrategyQuant.exe is not blocked by windows firewall (see sreenshots attached). 

I have found an error in the rules for inbound connections to port 80. Perhaps it works on next release. I will update with any result.

I'm not sure what exactly was a problem, I tested it on our Hetzner VPS and it wrk scorrectly. So I think it must be your own configuration - something must nbe blocking it.
