Critical memory problems in version 116

I have installed the new version, I first tried to upgrade from version 115 and used java 12 instead of j64, then I tried to make a clean install and use default j64, then I tried to copy my j64 folder from my a different sq113 folder and all of them got the same problem, they hit max memory in less than 1 hour. I tried different settings and even forcing garbage collector every minute but the results were the same. I have attached two images, one from sq 113 build and the other one is from 116 build. I have also attached the config file which I used for all my tests. in version 113 memory is about 10 all the time whereas in build 116 it starts very low but it keeps increasing until it reaches its max and crashes.

Hi,

I have the same problem.

I made some experiments

a) increase the swapfile of the computer to 250 GB

b) Give the SQ 4.116 128 GB Memory (more is not possible, Is this a java limitation ?)

c) I started generation

d) The memory leak is available. I wait some time

e) I Stoped generation and I started generation after a while

f) The memory has been released by the system. After every stop/start this happens

(This can be a hint for error analysis)

I am having regular crashes with Java 11 and 12 too, memory related too. Log-files are attached.

Status changed from New to Fixed

I found the memory leak and fixed it. There was really growing memory if you used genetic evolution, until it filled the entire memory.

I believe these Java crashes were also caused by this.
