Momocoong is right: many times the account balance becomes null or negative; in this case, as in the Metatrader Tester, the equity line should become a flat line...

its nonsense to add some margin checks in the program where are you not trading, only trying to find strategies

as hankeys said - SQ is a tool to find strategies, not to simulate and handle margins, etc. It will trade even if your initial capital is 0 (with fixed lot MM).
