why when evolution ends is a clean population and a new one generated? the parameters only set the beginning of a new evolution rather than a clean whole population ...

not used "Fresh blood" or other parameter to clean populiation

this is normal behavior. genetic evolution ends after a certain set of generations, it is not related to fresh blood.


And start of new genetic evolution waits until all islands are finished.

you have set max number of generations to 30, so after 30 steps the gen. builder will be restarted and start with a new initial population

I checked the code again - the restart is performed independently on every island, so they are not waiting for each other. When evolution finishes on an island, it is restarted from beginning.


It starts from the beginning, so it cleans its initial population and starts again.

I understand this perfectly, but the question is, why is the entire population cleaned up?

wouldn't it be better to leave the current population instead of just repeating it?

Maybe you can make that choice by repeating evolution to leave old population or clean it?

if you leave the old population there is no reason to restart it, it could continue with the evolution. 


population has to be cleaned and new one should be generated.
