Is it hard to make it run on Linux with GUI? I also want the option of running SQX headless that can be run by Linux terminal so I can run SQX programmatically via python or other languages. This can help a lot when there is a need to create strategies with a more complex project flow. 

Having both options is really appreciate.

As of now, I have a lot of problem SQX running on windows. Windows updater constantly needs to pause every now and then or it will automatically restart your PC when running SQX.

There is a serious performance bug on AMD Threadripper CPU with a workaround but will perform better on Linux.

Windows license cost that will be a huge problem when we need to run SQX on the GRID(cluster).

And Linux is free more stable and better suits for long-running computational tasks than windows. A lot of scientific task i.e. Machine Learning, Data Mining is done on Linux.

This would be a very welcomed addition. I have no doubts SQX will perform better on Linux than Windows.

I was looking for a way to run SQ headless as the GUI was constantly freezing and pausing the generation of strategies for me and found this task. I'm using SQ remotely so I don't need the GUI on the server running it at all, so far seems like this isn't an option yet, would be nice to have this soon as the GUI is just using resources that we could be using for generating strategies and improve SQ speed as a whole.
