can you attach some example of .str strategies that you cannot import?

ok, it looks like this file was created in older or special version of SQ. There is no direct support to open it in SQ X.

You'd have to open it in StrategyQuant 3.8 (previous major version) then save it there under another name, and then open this file in SQ X.

I can import into SQ-X if I first save it under another name in SQ3.8. BUT, when I retest in SQ-X, it produces no trades

ok, I found the problem with this, there was a bug importing ADX indicator into SQ X. It will be fixed in the new build.

Strategies using other indicators should be fine.
