[122] WFM CPU Usage error

Dear SQ team
I have 8 core cpu and I find that every time I use optimizer to run WFM
even I setup my max cpu only 6 cores it always use all cores meanwhile my computer will very slowly and lag.
Is it normal in WFM?
Thank you.

it is hard to say.  How do you have the Momory configured in SQ?

Can you post a screenshot of Memory configuratuion as same as you did for CPU?

please change your memory seting from

"Let program determine maximum memory"

to

"Set maximum memory to " - and specify 20 - 24 GB.

If you leave it to program, it will use too little memory and that causes problems.

I'm sure this will be fixed when you increase memory.

Dear Mark

Ok, I will try it.

But how about the CPU core use?

Even I set it at 6 cores, in the retest(MC) process every thing is fine.

But if I start to use the WFM it will use all cores.

It could still be memory issue.

But if you have configured it to use more memory try to set it to 4 cores.

WFM jobs use only 6 cores per your specification, but there is additional overhead for UI and memory management, so it could burden also other cores.

OK, I got it.

Thank you very much.
