no strategies from build config in 127 compared to pre upgrade

These settings have produced very quickly strategies to work with on the 126 build. now on the 127 i get none. ive tried to downgrade to 126 but this still behaves in the same way. the configuration is almost the same as the quastic course. I am currently unable to generate any new strategies. my computer is i7 8th gen with 16gb ram

Hello Oliver, can you please attach some strategies generated with 126 ?


Did you try to retest those strategies on 127 ?


Printscreens with displayed engine - accepted stats of 126 / 127 could be also helpful

Hi Thanks for the quick response


ive attached some of the strategies ive generated in 126


Ive managed to now revert back to 126 build correctly. the 1st time i attempted to downgrade, it it said in, about, it was 126 but it had a lot of the 127 features like the new memory options this is why i said it was not working on the forum. 


when 127 was installed i did not attempt to retest any strategies. i only tried to build. 


I can try re install 127 on a seperate folder and attempt to use it without affecting the 126?

yes, you can install 127 to a separate folderr and it will not affect your existing 126 installation. But I'd like to find out why your 127 installation is not working.


Would it be possible for you to ZIP the full SQ 127 folder (the one that is not generating)  and share it with me somehow?

The problem will be in your build config.


Please check you filtering settings on CC Higher backtest precission panel.

There you compare "Net profit, Higher backtest precision, IS" with "Net Profit, Full sample from main data"


In config used for generating the attached strategies the settings are ok.

I checked the config from your two attached strategies, it generates similar accepted amount of strategies in both 126 and 127. Higher precision cross check is also not a problem.


So if you stil have problem generating in 127 it must be caused by some problem in your configuration. I'm attaching configuration from your two strategies, it works in both 126 and 127.

I looked at it one more time, and found the problem in the first setting you attached - there was a bad filter in Higher precision Cross check.


You compared Higher precision result on IS with result on Full sample, it could never be true. That's why it didn't generate any strategies.
