b127.153 OUT OF MEMORY

os: win10 x64

cpu: i5-8500
ram: 8 GB


Other:  win10 x64
cpu: i7-9750h
ram: 16Gb


The task stops when it runs for only few minute or less than an hour.
.

This happens on both computers.

Here is the setting on another pc.


And the project example, GBPUSD -H1 Simple could run of memory too.

I canot reproduce it. I run it on your data with your project with 8 GB and 16 GB memory and it never givves Out of memory error. The peak memory usage is little below 7-8 GB, so it could create problems with 8 GB RAM if you have a lot of other strategies loaded into SQ Retester, Optimizer or Custom projects.


Can you attach a screenshot of SQ memory chart to see how much memory you have available in SQ BEFORE you start the build?

i am experiencing also some memory issues with final B127, i tried also some dev versions and with them i have no problem, but final B127 behave strange

nothing specific...i run predefined build task, and after a while (hours) the RAM is full


dev versions doesnt do it

It happened in the building process, the 1st stage of the custom project. 


I tested it on the PC with 8GB ram, and set the max memory use as 5GB memory. It runs well for a whole night. 


But in the PC with 16GB ram ( no max memory limit setting). It would run out of memory, just after few minutes. 


Very strange.

 I stared at SQ running this time and found that it stopped with OUTOFMEMORY prompt, only about 4Gb memory used showed in heap memory chart.


But I had 16GB ram and no other large program was running.

Just same as yours. I only choose "Let program determine maximum memory" or "Set max memory to 12GB"


When the default setting ( program determine), SQ will definitely run out of memory, few minutes or less than an hour.


And now I  set max memory to 12GB. SQ can run well.

I identified the problem, there really was a memory leak. It will be fixed.
