[Build 127] Custom block parameter rename won't stick

If I change the name of a parameter in a custom block then it reflects in Parameter sets box of Building blocks but not in the Parameter values box. Also, when I exit and go back into SQX then the parameter name has reverted back to the old version everywhere, including in the Custom block section. I haven't attached the files etc as this should be pretty easy to replicate.

Ok I can't replicate the second issue again - the one where the name reverts back. It seems to be saving the details now - maybe I hadn't saved the block. The first issue is still there though however that's much more minor...

Status changed from New to Fixed

Hi Gottogethelp,

if you alter the custom block parameters, you should reset the custom block to default settings in Building blocks' Edit block dialog.

This way the new parameter name as well as any other changes will take effect immediately.

I was thinking about doing some kind of refresh automatically, but the custom blocks bring a lot of modification possibilities and I think it is contraproductive trying to handle all possible scenarios.

Resetting the block is the simplest and effective option.

Best regards,

Tomas
