Building blocks / Initial population

Dear SQX community,

I do not see sense that the changes made in "Building bloks" are not included in the strategies generated through "Initial population".
I explain myself:
In "Building bloks" I have limited "LongExitAfterBars <100" and after many hours of calculation I have obtained a base of strategies to use as "Initial population".
Subsequently change to "Building bloks", "LongExitAfterBars <75".
In the new generated strategies using my best "Initial population" there are strategies with "LongExitAfterBars <75" and others with "<100". The restrictions imposed in "Building blocks" are not respected.
I would like to know the opinion of the community in this regard.
Is it possible that I am not using the application correctly?
If there are enough "quorum" I would like a new feature to change this behavior.

Thanks for the work

Status changed from New to Refused

you are right, it behaves like this and it is how it should be - when you generate strategies from existing initial population then it uses these existing strategies as a basis.

Only new strategies generated randonmly to add to the population will adhere to the building blocks limitation.
