why are all commands turned off after GUI activation?
I think it would be more helpful forcommand to be left active if GUI is only needed for that time to check/change things.
and the next thing might be an opportunity to make it possible through CLI to turn off GUI after activation, if only to change settings or perform some other actions.

this is principally not possible (or difficult), when using UI settings are cached in memory and working with CLI would interfere with UI
