Optimize Strategies task after about 100 optimizations it becomes very slow and can no longer be stopped using the stop button. The SQX program can then no longer be shut down normally. The program must then be canceled via the Windows task manager.
The optimizations continue very slowly. Attached are picture of the situation.

ok, isn't the reason that SQ exhausted all the available memory? I see from your screenshot that you have 64 GB on your PC, but how much do you have allocated in SQ?
It woudl help if you'll attach your custom project.

SQ has been allocated 60 GB. As an attachment you will receive the configuration of the custom project.

I cannot reproduce i. I let your custom project run for several hours, it generated 500 strategies and optimized most of them in this time, it always worked on 100% CPU.
I'll try it ome more time.

I tried it with limited CPUs (only 4) and stil it works correctly. It is possible that it was fixed in the meantime.

This happen to me as well a couple of times
When I press on the stop button, the button start became green again, the software was still running.
But I was able to close the software normally with the dialogue box , and restart.
