[Build 130] Clear All Databanks

A couple of times now I have mistakenly pressed "Clear All Databanks" when I meant to press "Clear Databank." Consequently I have lost some good generated strategies that have passed WFM with no recovery. Can I suggest moving "Clear All Databanks" to the settings menu or somewhere less visible in order to prevent idiots like me losing hours of work by a silly mistake?

No, I use this button very often.

It is dangerous, but it is helpful.

And I think the location is ok.

I totally agree that the function is very useful, but how about adding at least a pop up to say, "Are you sure you want to clear ALL databanks." My point is that it's easy to make a mistake and there is no way to recover from it.

please dont move or add anything...i am using it very often

there was way how to recover deleted strats, because the SQX files was still in disc location - user - projects, because mostly we have set synchronisation to 1 hour, but someone here want to add feature to delete files instantly and i dont know exactly if it was already implemented

We'll be not moving it anywhere else, but we'll add a more vsible warning to the Clear all databanks confirmation dialog.

Damnit I hate this button lol.

OK some people like it fine but why does it need to delete everything instantly from the file system? What's the point of backing everything up to the file system if not to backstop from such mistakes? Couldn't they have gone to the recycle bin at least for easy retrieval?

Forgive my rant. O have daily backups to cloud so it wasn't too bad. The popup was clear but in my case I forgot I had one tab that I didn't want cleared so I clicked it through anyways. I know it's a balance of computer resources and personal preferences but even a makeshift recycle bin to hold things just until SQX is shutdown or restarted or for a day or even a few hours would be great to apply to maybe just the manual deletes/clears. Or maybe I should just be more careful =)

Setup 3rd party backups to run every hour, problem solved.
