When using Historical data from Ducascopy downloader and then changing timezone, my disk-space is X2 bigger..

Now i cannot delete the original file because the cloned files depending on those original files...,

my SQX folder is over 100 GBs hehe.., When really it needs to be only 50 GBs..,

Any way to just select the timezone of the data BEFORE we download the data?, rather then selecting it afterwards and having the same file 2 times with different timezones..?,

Thanks that will help alot.

imagine that every cloned timezone should be somewehre stored for the users to only download what they want and weekly need to be done the updates

for me its simple - use only 1M precision, ticks are for nothing

and you are really trading all the pairs?

my 29 pairs (forex, indices, commodities) with 1M precision has only 2GB zipped - so nothing i couldnt live with

I understand your point, but we are storing also the original data, this allows you to clone it to multiple timezones.

Today disk space is cheap, it is not worth solving this.
