V129 internal/tmp/stock directory grew to over 1TB over night and wiped out HD space

internal/tmp/stock directory swelled to over 1TB and consumed all hard disk space overnight...directory contains 407K files, all sq4-stock*.jar files



nothing changed, application has been running for months on same project cycles, most of the files are around 1k in size, the more recent ones up to 8mb each.


Assume it is safe to delete the contents of this directory without any consequences?

Thanks - it was turned on by mistake in a build task on one of the projects!


I have only around 100 strategies across all databanks saved/that passed on the hard drive - these have trades on charts, which I want. However I still have 202,000 files in that tmp directory...I want to delete them, but not the charts for the 100 strategies. If I delete all 202,000 files, do I loose the trades on charts data for the 100 strategies saved across the various databanks (these results/charts took about 6 hours to generate per strategy)?

because also in this directory are some files, which after SQX restart remains there
