Limiting maximum number of open trades in MT4

For portfolio traders here, it would be great to have a trading option that limits the number of maximum open trades in MT4 (across ALL charts). This similar in concept to the 'max trades per day' feature in trading options.



The max number of trades allowed in MT4 should be a configurable parameter in each EA's settings.



For example, if the number of open trades in MT4 = max number, market/stop/limit orders will not be placed by the EA.


This is a good way to diversify the portfolio by trading more strategies, without risking a margin call.
