Give us an option to see Hourly Equity (just like the daily equity..) but in hours

This is some what related to my recent request of a Trade-By-Trade Equity statements and statistics related to it https://roadmap.strategyquant.com/tasks/sq4_7694

But since we already got the Daily Equity already built-in, why not add a feature have it in an Hour-By-Hour manner, (Hourly Equity),

Or even better to allow us to go even deeper just like in the recent request (link above..) ,
Trade-By-Trade based Equity,
X Minutes Based Equity,
X Hours Based Equity,
X Days Based Equity (We already got it based on 1 day..).

Please add Hourly Drawdown with this also.

sorry, but no. SQ is a software to process huge number of strategies per hour. Adding more detailed equity - by hour or even a minute - would mean storing much more data per every backtest, we want to avoid this. The potential benefit is not worth the cost.

Totally understood but at-least give us the users the option to select it like so in the screenshot attached,

The parameter will come by default as Daily Equity (i.e. 1440 Minutes),
But the user can choose to select a different amount if he wish to,


And by the way,

This is not Builder specific, We can build by default with the parameter set to 1440 minutes (Daily Equity),
But if we wish to.., we can RETEST the strategies like so with 60 Minutes Equity to get a more detailed view,

It will only benefit the software, i dont see this feature as a harm.


Please re-consider, waiting for your reply.

I agree with Karish. Please give us the option to RETEST for this type of thing like we can with "storing chart data"

no, it is not simple to implement, and we do have our own priorities, so many feature requests are refused. 


We cannot extend the program to every possible direction everybody wants, please understand that.


I know that you want your particular feature, but 99% of other users will never use it. 

We have our own ideas where we want to go with the development and development resources are allways limited. 


I believe we listen to our users a lot, a big portion of suggested features is implemented. But frankly, there are currently a few hundreds of various suggestions, majority of them will simply not be implemented.

Insanity82007 also agreed with me about at-least giving us the option to change it...

not today not tomorrow but in the later builds, this is a good feature and its not something completely new, we already got the Daily Equity implemented we just want more control over it..

Well.., at-least i hope Swaps would be implemented into the SQX's build 131 core rather What-if, hopefully it wont be refused as well.. (Swaps is the most voted feature of all times*)
