I can't see any problem that could cause this issue.
Can it be reproduced somehow? Does that happen regularly or was it just during first start?
If you send me your project, I can try on my mac. Also a video showing the problem would be very helpful.

How often is the log updated by the software, maybe it didn't catch it on the log?
What do you want a video of? The process is its going through the project tasks, it then gets stuck on one of the tasks randomly and appears like its doing something but it actually isn't. The stop button then doesn't work and you can't close SQX without force quitting. That's basically it. Would the log capture that if its already frozen before writing to the log?
I've attached a project it occurred on. It's happened on more than one project but when I reboot it will then run the project OK so it maybe hard to reproduce.
