Project gets stuck at a single strategy and doesnt move on

The project all of a sudden just stops on a single project, CPU stops being used only RAM is used. I think it is always when retesting I have no idea the reasoning behind this. Please fix this, or tell me what to do its really annoying.

You need to fix you "Automatic retest" task. It makes 0 sense in the part of the GUI where strategies passed, failed are shown. Its working normally with the simple "Retest" task.

can you attach your custom project so I can reproduce it?

It works correctly in my tests - it is never stuck in a task.

We'll look at the fialer/passed counts, but this is another issue.

I had the same problem on many occasions. To  get around it i delete the strategy it stopped on. Seems to happen if you have to many strategies some XML read problem also only happend on AUD pairs for me so far. The other 20  no problem :)

it would really help if you could attach the strategy or project that was causing this, otherwise we will be not able to reproduce this issue.

This is an issue when you have the option "Let the program determine maximum memory" selected.

SQ does NOT use available memory correctly when this setting is applied.

I have 64GB of RAM and for some reason SQ refuses to use more than 19GB with "Let the program determine maximum memory" selected, but when I tell it to use up to 56GB, then it's fine.

Every time I install a fresh install of SQ and forget to manually set my max memory, this issue happens where a task "gets stuck" because SQ runs out of memory and won't allocate more, even if there is plenty available.

this is not an issue - with this config you let memory setting to Java, and it usually uses 1/3 - 1/2 of your available RAM as maximum memory. Java will not allocate more than the predetermined maximum memory, so if you need more you have to set it manually.

I have my RAM set manually at 29 GB out of my 32 GB. It just happened the other day, but im telling you its the automatic retest task, when i change the automatic retest task to a simple retest. Its just frustrating that i cant use the automatic retest

Alfred - it is not just the automatic retest tas, it is a aparticular configuration in combination with some of your strategies.

In orfder to be able to reproduce this error I need your example project (or Automatic task setting) + strategies on which it behaves like this. Then I can fix it.

It works correctly in all my tests.

I have the same Mark. I don't care too much as normally i just need to stop manually the task and go to the next one. Important to note that this happens only with the last strategy and if i reboot SQX everythign is fine. Happens with multiple projects, i could not determine a specific cause.
