Builder freezes in first minute of operation when using Random group.



The configuration is on the DAX index and uses multi timeframe with a template.



The random group incorporates a number of conditions both standard and custom blocks.

it seems the reason is some errors in how some of the custom blocks are defined in strategy template.


Could you attach the exported Custom blocks & Random groups from your installation?

You can export them in the Customize editation in AlgoWizard.


Or attach these two files from your installation:

/StrategyQuant/user/settings/customBlocks.xml

/StrategyQuant/user/settings/randomGroups.xml

There are no custom blocks being used in that build configuration or template. They are just standard conditions from SQX.

the strategy template you sent had different config of the random group Mod_M5, it contained also custom block JH Pivot 5 Bar Long, which had an error - it used parameters that didn't exist.



Please check your configuration and if you still see the problem send us an updated config and strategy template.

ok, as I said these Pivot bar custom blocks are the problem - they use comparison of EMA with badly defined period parameters - the parameters were probably deleted after they were used.


We added detection of this into AlgoWizard for the next build, for now the fix is to go to these blocks and fix the parameters - either create new period parameters to use in EMA, or don't use parameters.
