Built in automatic strategy rename option

It would be nice to keep the developed strategies in organized way by creating informative strategy names. Wish this could be a built in option in future SQX.

Hope there would be option to automatically create strategy name based on symbols, time frame and sessions and time zone (if needed) before strategy development in builder or Custom Project.
Or the strategy name prefix/postfix  could be preset by user before the strategy development  process start instead of just merely unrecognizable naming in  "Strategy x.x.x  ".

yeah great idea, hope developers will add it! I think there is already feature for renaming after generation with some manual prefix and sufix. But some automatic renaming with symbol, timeframe and magic number will be great.

problem si simple - every user need to make some definition what and how should be renamed and combinations of TFs could be for example very complex because of possibility to have multiple TFs together in strategy....but everything could be solved

@hankeys, the rename tool in your private forum is a good start, but it requires creating the config file manually for every symbols in the SQX data.  The manual work is tedious and data/TF may be keyed in by mistake. I know it is required for its original intention, i.e. to unify all submitted strategy name in the forum.


However a built in rename tool should be free of such manual figuration and could  precisely extract any symbols /TF/category of indicators  from SQX data used for strategies. In addition optional Postfix/Prefix could be added  relevant to  each custom project. I think most strategy developers would also prefer to have the option  of  creating a bunch of strategies with better organization of the database for further analysis.
