More efficient work with big custom projects

there is sometimes a problem working with big custom projects containing a lot of tasks. This is because the full settings are sent back and forth between backend and frontend on each change, and if the custom project has a log of tasks this is a very huge amount of data.
Improve handling the settings changes - send the minimal required data for a quick action.
