File Dialog box

I can enter the file name in the lower box,  and as I need specify the path I have to click many times on the upper dropbox to arrive to the correct path 


The other way is to enter the string of the path in the lower box and press enter. However in this case, I lose the name of the file and I have to re enter the file name. 
It is time consuming and source of error.


Would it be possible to have  input text box, instead of a dropbox, to enter directly the full string of the path separated from the box of the file name  ?                     (like we have on the second attached capture )
