NOT FIXED in 136 dev 6 - "Date Generated" timestamp bugged

I find the date last modified very useful and working as intended. But the "Date Generated" timestamp works exactly the opposite way that it should. When it comes out of builder it is equal to 1970.01.01 so obviously, the "date generated" timestamp is not updated or initiated during building when it should be updated at this point. And the "date generated" timestamp updates in every other task when it should not.

A reminder that there are two parts to this bug:


 Part 1 is the null timestamp on genetic generation. 


 Part 2 is the date gets restamped on every other task when it should not. It should retain the generation date only. We already have "date modified" which gets restamped on any task.

I have tried a custom project with multiple retest tasks and it works fine for me.


Do you have a custom project where I can see the problem ?

Not fixed in dev 4 either 136....

Actually something very interesting. It does work sometimes properly but I think it only works for a retest task if the target and source databank is the "Results" databank. When I have a retest task set to source and target another databank, the date generated gets reset. It  I attache the one that works and the one that doesn't work.may also be the precision setting... one task has precision m1 and the other is this timeframe only. This timeframe only works but precision m1 does not.

Actually I went over some of these old strategies and each one had either a bugged secondary indicator or was reliant on a biased secondary chart. KAMA seems like it is working properly in the newest build once the other bugs were accounted for. Please close this ticket.

@ Mark, Why did you copy my quote from another ticket in to here? This task is about bugged date-generated timestamps, not about strategies. This task is not fixed in dev-4, please re-open it.
