SQX_136_Dev7_win - Returns Error Message during Launch, then Crashes

Hi SQX Team



Downloaded and installed latest 'SQX_136_Dev7_win' today. But following launch, during start-up, SQX returned the attached Error message, them promptly crashed. In total I tried launch 3x times, each time returning same Error message and crashing. Please can you investigate and advise how to resolve this issue.

To clarify my previous comment: the above reported Error Message only appears when I launch SQX_136_Dev7_win after importing my exitsing SQX 'User' folder, which is the 'User' folder I wish to proceed with.

Whereas, if I lauch SQX_136_Dev7_win using SQX's 'Default User' folder, this Error Message does not arise and SQX opens correctely. However, this setup is of little use to me as I wish to progress with SQX using my exitsing 'User' folder: containing my exitsing downloaded Data, Project folders, etc.

It looks that some of your custom snippets are corrupted. Please attach log file + snippets zip to reproduce the bug

Hi Tamas

Thanks for your quick response. Please see attached zip file containing my current 'user' subfolders:


- \user\log

  • To reduce zip file size I have only included: latest log files; log file dated 18 Nov (the day I reported this issue)
- \user\extend\Snippets

  • All Snippets were downloaded from SQ web site

If you need any further SQX user folders or files, please conifrm which you need.

Hello, the problem is that your user folder contains ROC indicator which is a default indicator built in SQX.


please remove folder user\extend\Snippets\SQ\Blocks\Indicators\ROC and restart SQX.

If it doesn't work please delete Snippets.jar from internal/libs folder and run SQX.
