This is what I was asking for in this request:

For me, without the ability to add external "indicator" data, the strategies produced will never succeed. The are many studies of at least the FX market that says the historical data does not contain any information that predicts the direction of the market with any degree of statistical significance.

Therefore having the ability to load other data such as sentiment, actual volume from options and futures, etc is mandatory.

I am wondering why we still can't import indicator values into SQX? We were able to do this in SQ3 for many years, ie created a custom indicator, give it some outputs with output types and then import a file to give the indicator values against time.

Then the indicator could be used in strategy generation. Pretty basic and simple concept. Without this feature, to me SQX has no value and I am no longer using it or testing it.
